About Us

Since 1893, Cambridge Camping has served children from under-resourced families by providing exceptional summer camp programs. More recently, Cambridge Camping has begun to offer school year weekend programs and vacation camp. In the fall of 2019, CCA also introduced the Village Series: workshops geared to caregivers and out-of-school time providers on topics of shared interest including the impact of trauma on behavior and self-care for adults.

CCA continues to serve more than 500 campers annually through Cambridge Adventure Day Camp, Daybreak Day Camp and CCAccess – a referral and scholarship program placing children in day and overnight camps throughout New England – and our school year programming.

Both Cambridge Adventure Day Camp and Daybreak Day Camp offer extraordinary programming, combining activities related to the arts, athletics, nature, swimming and literacy with frequent exploration of sites in the greater Boston area. With a single, five-week session and transportation to and from camp, CADC and Daybreak can focus on building friendships, engaging campers through new experiences, developing campers’ appreciation for their city, and creating a supportive, diverse community

Although we have evolved to meet the changing needs of our families and the community, we have never departed from our founding mission and we are driven by the same passion for equality and social justice with which we began.
