Space enthusiasts are invited to attend the Space Sector Market Conference, September 28 - 30. Speakers, who include senior leaders in academia, industry, financial markets and government, will be in attendance for the inaugural in-person and virtual gathering on September 28, 29 and 30. The Space Sector Market Conference includes the COSMIC business pitch competition: https://8hw08oxflwb.typeform.com/to/WUhdQsIV Conference tickets are available at the event website: https://whova.com/portal/registration/space_202109 The Space Sector Market Conference (SSMC) is being hosted by AUVSI New England, and it has been founded by a group of organizations across market sectors in space business, including Draper, MIT AeroAstro, 9.8 Capital, Potomac Institute for Policy Studies, STR and Xplore. SSMC will bring together technologists, investors, government officials and business leaders on various issues. The conference agenda features sessions on space capital and investing in space; creating the space ecosystems in the 2020s; big data and cyber security; and space sustainability. SSMC will take place in Cambridge, Mass., and virtually via the Whova event application. During the event, attendees will have opportunities to engage with top government space leadership, commercial space investors and academic talent. The keynote address will be delivered by Lt. Gen. John E. Shaw, Deputy Commander, U.S. Space Command. Panelists on the agenda represent a range of organizations, including Accion Systems, Air Force Research Lab, ARK Investment Management, BBC, Boston Consulting Group, Draper, Economy Rising, Fidelity Investments, IBM Security X-Force, In-Q-Tel, MIT, NASA, Office of Commercial and Economic Analysis, OUSD Trusted Capital, Rogue Space Systems Corporation, Space Development Agency, Space News, Strategic Capabilities Office, The White House, Vector Launch, Xplore and York Space Systems.
