Telephone
Ten-digit dialing is required to make phone calls in Massachusetts. You must dial the area code for all calls, local or long-distance. You do not need to dial a 1 before the area code to make a call within your area code. Most Cambridge number are in the 617 area code. 857 is an overlay area code. Cable TV
Call Comcast at (800) COMCAST or visit www.comcast-ne.com for Cable TV service. They also offer high-speed Internet access.
Snow Removal
Cambridge has a Snow Hotline, (617) 349-4903, for residents to report unshoveled or icy sidewalks.
