The Classroom -- What's Stopping You? The Inside Game of Selling Success

Most salespeople never achieve the success possible to them because of their inability to consistently and effectively exercise the selling fundamentals: cold-calling, asking the tough questions, qualifying opportunities and helping prospects make the decision to either close the sale or close the file. What stops them?

What stops them is typically not just a lack of technique or selling skills, but a lack of the one quality upon which all technique and selling skills depend: an expanded capacity to deal with risk, challenge and uncertainty. For it is this quality that will determine how high a salesperson will call, what questions will be asked, how well that salesperson’s skills will be executed and how long he or she will keep calling and risking in the face of no’s, negatives and disappointments.

In this groundbreaking workshop, Carl Harvey, sales development specialist and author of the book, "What's Stopping You?" will discuss the nature of this core competency and how it relates to selling success. More importantly, he will outline the perspectives and practices to develop this competency so you will be better able to call at the top, ask the tough questions and overcome call reluctance and the fear of failure.

By showing salespeople how to develop their inside game and go beyond their fears and self-doubts, this workshop will help them realize the possibilities for the success they desire and deserve.
