S E A awarded employer of the year
Civil and environmental engineering firm S E A Consultants has been named “Employer of the Year” by the Women In Transportation Services (WTS). The WTS Employer of the Year Award is presented annually to the New England-based organization or company that shows the greatest commitment to helping women in the transportation industry achieve professional excellence. In announcing the award, WTS recognized S E A Consultants’ history of hiring and promoting female professionals in an industry that has traditionally been dominated by men. One-in-three S E A employees is female, and women hold many of the firm’s key leadership positions. Additionally, nearly a quarter of the firm’s project managers are women, as are 20% of its stockholders.
