August 29, 2007 GAC Update  

The Election Commission has scheduled the recount to fill the City Council vacated by Middlesex County Clerk of Courts Michael Sullivan for next Wednesday, September 5 at 10 a.m.

The GAC met yesterday to discuss a proposal to add a Green Building Requirements to the Zoning Code.  If you would like to contribute comments on the proposal to the Chamber please e-mail Terrence Smith at tsmith@cambridgechamber.org. The Planning Board will hold a hearing on this proposal next Tuesday, September 4.  The meeting begins at 7:30 and the hearing on the proposed amendment is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.

Attorney General Martha Coakley will address an October GAC/Executive Speaker luncheon on Wednesday, October 24, 2007. More information to come.
