Guest Post: Find It Cambridge

Like many communities, Cambridge has a dizzying array of resources designed to support and enrich the lives of our residents. Unfortunately, in such a complex system of providers and networks, many people find it difficult to find the help they need.  We are working toward creating more effective and sustainable solutions that can easily be replicated in other communities.

One of our solutions is Find It Cambridge, a new online resource where people in Cambridge can easily find the activities, services and resources they are looking for. This one-stop-shop website helps users to sort through the options by offering features such as filtering by age, category, location and/or cost; signing up to receive reminders about upcoming events; and crowdsourcing to identify outdated or inaccurate information.

You can also talk to a Find It Here Expert at the CPS Family Resource Center, Cambridge Economic Opportunity Committee (CEOC) and Center for Families (CFF) to get help with finding the resources you need.
