Cambridge Chamber of Commerce Rebranding

  • Share:
The Need for Change
In 2016 the Chamber Staff and Board of Directors decided it was time to update the Cambridge Chamber. Building on our dedication to enhancing the Cambridge business community, the Chamber is now headed in a clear, service-oriented direction.

Message
Our updated mission: “The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to the promotion and connection of local businesses to create a thriving economic community in Cambridge.”

Look
A focus of our rebranding was creating an updated logo for the Cambridge Chamber. The themes of community, connectivity, and evolution inspired the new logo. The fusion of interlocking chain-link C’s and seamless gradient represents the strong, lively, and connected community that we proudly support.

Actions
Throughout the year, we have worked to improve our communication with our members and the public. We launched an updated website that is easier to navigate, enabling businesses of all sizes to better promote themselves to the public and connect with us.
Our members-only portal, the Member Information Center (MIC), allows members to manage their own online presence with the Chamber. This includes updating contact information, sharing news releases, events, hot deals, posting job and volunteer listings, and communicating with other members. This new enhanced feature of the Chamber membership is available to all members.
In 2017, the Chamber also revamped, and added to, our Events Calendar. Among other changes, we have experimented with various types of networking events, added programing with our Women in Business, Government Affairs, and Cambridge Young Professionals Committees, and created 2 new large community events: the Char & Bar Wars, and the Visionary Awards. The 2017 Visionary Awards, which will celebrate innovation & visionaries in our community, will be November 15th
